Yes, Tech Pet IQ is designed for most household pets such as dogs and cats.

Basic features can be accessed through any smartphone or smart device, Tech Pet IQ monitoring platform and wearable devices. It is important to have a good WiFi connection as this is how your TPIQ sensor communicates with our Cloud platform. 

Yes, we offer monthly and yearly subscriptions with easy cancellation. We make cancellation easy if you choose that TPIQ is not for you.

Yes, the sensor can support a feeder or water fountain placed on top, as long as the total weight does not exceed 10 lbs.

Tech Pet IQ employs robust security measures and follows strict data privacy regulations to protect user information and pet data.

Our smart bowl and subscription incorporate a sensor that detects a wearable tag to identify which pet is using the bowl. At this time we can detect up to 4 pets with our multi-pet tags. If you have more than 4, please contact us, we may still be able to accommodate you. 

Although not common, we cannot accurately detect the quantity that each pet drank. The total consumption could incorrectly be assigned to one of the pets if they are drinking simultaneously. 

Yes! The Nourish IQ Sensor is especially helpful for pets with medical conditions. By tracking your pet’s food and water intake in real-time, it helps you notice early changes in behavior that could indicate health issues. This data can be shared with your veterinarian to support diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment—making it a valuable tool for managing chronic conditions like kidney disease, diabetes, dental disease or pain, hyperthyroidism (especially in cats), dehydration, gastrointestinal issues, and urinary tract infections. Our system helps you and your vet stay ahead of issues. 

The scales currently are plug-in (please note, the cord is low-voltage in case your pet were to chew the cord) Coming soon - battery back up.

A 90 day warranty on the Smart Sensor platform is included. We will replace the sensor at no-cost for any covered reason. 

Yes! Our Smart Sensor platform is lightweight and compact making it easy to take along. Simply re-connect to any wifi or hotspot when you are ready to use. 

Yes. Water, wet or dry food will work.

The sensor and the bowls are 2 separate parts. The bowls are safe to wash, however the Smart Sensor platform must remain dry and is NOT safe to dry.
